PSYCHIATRIC MEDICATION MANAGEMENT

Dr. Paulina Zapata, DNP, PMHNP-BC

Welcome! I am Dr. Paulina Zapata, a board-certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner with extensive experience. I earned my Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Grand Canyon University and my Doctorate of Nursing Practice from the University of Arizona.

Throughout my career, I've worked in various behavioral health settings, including outpatient community mental health, inpatient adolescent facilities, and drug and alcohol rehabilitation. I am dedicated to empathetic, patient-centered care, and I take the time to understand each individual’s unique stressors for tailored assessments.

During my residency, I served a rural community, focusing on individuals with substance use disorders. I also have experience treating a variety of mental health conditions, including depression, anxiety and panic disorders, ADHD, bipolar disorders, psychosis, sleep disorders, and PTSD.

I strive to create a safe, supportive environment where patients feel empowered on their mental health journey. I look forward to partnering with you in your path to wellness.

PSYCHIATRIC MEDICATION MANAGEMENT

Tobi Marquez, PMHNP-BC

I am Tobi Marquez, a board‑certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with 18 years of nursing experience and a genuine passion for helping others. I earned my Bachelor of Science from Arizona College and my Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Phoenix.

I am deeply dedicated to serving my local community, and I approach mental health care with a holistic, evidence‑based philosophy. I believe that life is messy and healing isn’t linear, and I walk alongside my clients with compassion, respect, and clinical excellence, meeting them exactly where they are.

I’m a lifelong learner, and I bring that same curiosity and warmth into my personal life.

I’m an amateur gardener who loves watching things grow — both in the soil and in my practice. When I’m not at work, you might find me cheering at a basketball game, browsing a local antique shop, or relaxing with a good mystery novel or a thought‑provoking podcast.
